South Australian House of Assembly

Two petitions are provided:

  1. The first is a Federal petition to the Australian Senate and is intended for all Australian citizens, Australian residents, or Australian expats.
  2. The second is a State petition to the House of Assembly in the South Australian Parliament. This petition is intended for Residents of South Australia, and South Australians living interstate or overseas and still on the Electoral Roll and eligible to vote in South Australia.

Whereas all Australians (including, of course, South Australians) may sign the Federal petition, only South Australians are eligible to sign the State petition.

If you are a British Citizen there is also a British e-petition you are eligible to sign.

When you click the "Sign" button at the bottom of the form, your signature will include your title, name, IP address, Street Address and email address (if you optionally elect to provide it) on the petition submitted to Parliament as verification of the authenticity of each signature. Your address and email details will not be published on the internet.

Residents of South Australia, and South Australians living interstate or overseas and still on the Electoral Roll and thus eligible to vote in South Australia, may sign both of the petitions above (ie both State and Federal petitions). South Australians may select whether they wish to sign either, or both, of the petitions at the time that you click the "Sign" button.

All other Australian citizens are only eligible to sign the Federal petition and clicking the "Sign" button will add your signature to that petition only.

Please take the time to read the petitions and support the Clipper Ship City of Adelaide by signing either or both of these petitions as applicable. Thank-you.
