Baseline Plan

This page broadly describes our planned approach for the project to bring the City of Adelaide clipper ship back to South Australia. It is anticipated that these details will be further refined during detailed design and planning. They are dependent on a detailed site survey as well as the equipment and methods ultimately used.

The plans are presented using a Work Breakdown Structure, which is a fundamental project management technique for defining and organising the total scope of a project, using a hierarchical tree structure.

The project is broken down into a series of Phases.    Each phase is then broken down into a series of Stages.

The high level phases are:

  • Phase 1: Remove the clipper from the slipway.
  • Phase 2: Transport the clipper to South Australia.
  • Phase 3: Preparations to receive the clipper in South Australia.
