Schumacher, Caroline Magdalene Paulina

On the 1866 voyage of the 'City of Adelaide' from Adelaide to London were passengers Mrs Schumacher and Miss Schumacher. Mrs. Schumacher was Caroline Magdalene Paulina (nee) Wilke. Schumacher was her second married name and she was also known by her middle name Pauline. They sailed from London back to Germany but nothing more of them is known other than their arrival in London.

Mrs Schumacher was born in Germany, c1825. Her first husband was Wilhelm Homburg (b c1846, Brunswick Germany) with whom she had a daughter called Alwine Homburg.
