Between 1864 and 1887, the clipper City of Adelaide made 23 voyages to South Australia bringing many hundreds of immigrant families to settle in South Australia. South Australia to England

These are the voyages made by the City of Adelaide from Adelaide to London. After delivering her passengers and their goods and chattels to Port Adelaide, the 'City' would load with goods and passengers for the return voyage to England. Often, the cargo loaded would be wool - loaded at Port Adelaide or grain loaded at other ports further up St. Vincent's Gulf.
